Pause

In my box within four walls, I open the drapes to peer out But pressed by the pause button, I stand still, to see my world out not so delightful. For its not safe to venture out, as our life is way too precious! I am in a process of building bridges and not walls; as I connect the dots, I pray for better days to come so that I can untie the strings of fear As each day I oil my lamp of hope to keep it burning bright. For thou above all shall bring in happiness and shun away the darkness soon. With each passing day, I realize it’s a mere gift in hand, So just pause for a little moment to know what matters. In a constant motion of life filled with only the “To do” list, Unseen goes the present moment of life...... Its never too late to pause a little and enjoy every bit of today before it becomes yesterday!!! ~ Swetha G ✍🏻
