It was a long time dream come true for me a few months ago. My very first airplane journey... In childhood days like any other child would do, as the plane noise is heard, that weird sound I’ve always wondered where it came from?? I was excited to see the toy plane I always played with could actually fly in real, where most of the things said to children are imaginary stories, but a child happens to dream and live the story.Way too far and above in the blue sky over the clouds I see the airplane flying with some tiny lights glowing, I run my way through to just get a glimpse of it and jump and wave my hands hoping people flying up there could wave a bye. Some little things that bring in that happiness is blissful.
Years rolled by, my door to this dream was opened, and bags packed, passport stamped ticket to fly almost a step away, gazing at the airport watching people at arrivals and departures too many emotions filled over the place. I smile at anything and anyone as I was overwhelmed. I enter the airplane along with my husband holding onto his hands firmly as a little fear within me kept popping out. The pretty ladies welcoming at the door along with the pilots was pretty much calming at that point of time. Walked in found our seats, it was three seater on either sides.. As always I got my window seat and a little did my husband know about my first journey and my fear of heights. Soon in a while it was time to take off with my seat belt on I murmered a small prayer and all set as I was amazed and excited, it being my first fly I was literally feeling every move of the airplane as it took a steep rise I panicked a lot and with closed eyes holding on to my better half I made up my mind to overcome this fear, with his support I could overcome the fear of my life successfully, as I was with eyes shut closed my husband insisted me to open my eyes and look out from the window, I slowly opened my eyes and what I saw was mesmerizing sight into the white cotton candy, yes the clouds moving swiftly along the sky and a little more beep out I could see down people and vehicles as tiny ants Moving on the ground. Later in a while what I saw was even more beautiful the sun, yes a huge mass of fire ball passing its warmth and light viewing it quite close by was indeed a visual treat for me. Though I happened to experience a few jolts and air turbulence in my journey I could overcome my triggers of fear as my husband pacified me. I enjoyed my meal served and fell asleep onto his shoulders... In a while heard the pilots announce that we have reached our destination, it did not take many hours too. I happily enjoyed my first fly, and thereafter many flights and new experiences kept adding on and so the journey continue
