Staying up the hills she stands tall,
The Queen of hills- Ooty
She reigns with all greenary, top of the towns,is South India's Pride.
While tourists throng to just get a glimse of her immense beauty,
The Blue Mountains-Nilgiri glitters and retains its natural beauty,
The dense Pine and Eucalyptus trees spread across its bends,
Air is scented generously with a pleasant weather throughout the year,
With the purple -blue flowers of Neelakurinji that blossoms once in 12 years ,
gave Nilgiri Hills its name, a unique identity to the towering mountains.
With prominent water falls and serene lakes adds things to look into,
Dew drops on tip of the grass sparkles as the sun hesitates and takes a peep,
The drizzling rain make the flowers to dance to the tunes of the chirping birds,
The home of fresh veggies, tea plantations, chocolates and honey,
Never miss to taste the natures gift , as she has a lot to give away to all who visit her,
Wildlife Sanctury is the home to many animals as they enjoy the chills and tranquility
of the charming forest. Though deforestation has ruined many of animals,
the fear is still in their eyes turning them wild.
The sightseeing of valleys, amazing tunnels, the mountain peaks covered with clouds
the steep curves and bends as the train moves around its a delight to eyes indeed.
The age old trees and the massive botanical garden with various colourful flowers
surely adds its panoramic beauty, What a fascinating view!
The Queen of mountains has much more to share with each one
Staying still and giving Nature at its best.
Its our duty to save nature for one and all!
We owe to Mother Earth not to destory but to build the much needed greenary for life.
